Landsknecht, German mercenary pikeman of the late 15th and early 16th centuries. At the height of their success, the Landsknechte ranked among the most-effective foot soldiers in the world. The battlefields of the Renaissance shook with the marching feet of the iconic Landsknecht Mercenaries! These soldiers were skilled with the use of the pike as well as a full armory of other weapons!
Come talk with the soldiers so they can share their favorite historical weapons and tactics with you. The Landsknecht brought with them a full camp with camp followers as a moving city, so the Kampfrau (camp women) will also share the crafts and cooking for the soldiers on campaign. Come learn about the German Landsknecht Mercenaries, the Pinnacle of Renaissance military power!
